It drains away
Into the past
The blood of ages
of generations

Of slaves and masters
mingled in the mud
all together in the earth
On battlefields of old

For race or Creed
Death does not
Atone for those
In life

For it claims us all
as blood does run
In every house
And every hall

We all will leave
We all must go
For we are programed so
all all around blood is sown

------------------
Pride of place in the human race goes to one without a trace,
of subtlety style ego or grace for this position, I wish to say, i would be proud as i am greater than any other face in the crowd
