I came with you that night
when the moon and stars was at sight
you sang to me songs of love
as you serenaded me like a love

You danced with me in the sand
while I took hold your hand
you whispered in my ear
words that I fancied to hear

You lifted me in the air
and the wind brushed my hair
we gazed into the moon
hoping this won't end soon

You touched my face
and my heart started to race
you kissed my cheek
and I felt meek

You told me I'm the love of your life
and you asked me to be your wife
but all I could do
is to dream of being with you

My lips had failed to say
words that paved your way
yet the tears in my eyes,
had covered all my lies

You are the one I sought for
hoping it will last forever more
your love had given me wings to fly
and you made my spirit soar up high.

You'll find him Jag, he's out there. Relax, he's still looking too. Somtimes we look too hard.

Welcome to Passions Jag. I could picture your poem on a beach, at the edge of the wave line where the tide was rolling in. Good imagery!

Welcome to Dark Passions Jag!! I really enjoyed the imagery in this one. It'll happen again Jag, and even better this time

Jag;
Welcome to Passions...Very beautiful poem and great imagery....(I can feel the water and sand rushing up to tickle my feet at the shoreline)....
Your spirit will soar once more
when the right one comes knocking again at your door.

Looking forward to seeing more from you.

A slow dance with memory I found with this piece. Very well done, Jaguar.

Now it is my turn to tell you that you have brought back a memory for me. . . the beach at sunset. . . at sunrise. . . the face of my lover, the joy in her eyes. . .

You will run again my friend. . . through the fields of love, for a heart such as yours is usually only found in those that come from above.
