I'm good at being a mother hen, Of this I have no doubts, It's the deeper stuff that troubles me, Because of me am I somehow missing out? I'm at ease in friendships, Offer my all and best, A mother of endless patience, Motherhood, I pass that test. But perhaps when it comes to partners, I am too much to bear, So full of love and emotion, Not easily understood, in a way it's not fair. Can you kill a relationship, Or scare people away, With such depth of emotion, Can anyone really say? I am the way I am, It's part of the woman that's me, One day someone will understand, And in their soul I'll be........ ------------------ The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there IS to celebrate. ~Isis~ (Daughter of Mystery) |

All I have to say is ....HOW COULD ANYONE HAVE MISSED THIS POEM?????? As per the posting you put up earlier about not replying....It is a shame so many people are so quick to run past a beauty like this and not even notice. Well I must say I am slightly offended by the lack of response to a remarkable piece such as this..and this isn't even my poem.. (no offense given; just some disappointment.) Great title!!! Very nice, Isis. I too, am sorry I missed this the first time through. It is a heartfelt piece and I run into the same problem all to often myself  lol------------------ Life is what you make of it... Not what you let it be |

Parteners is just plain HARD anyway you slice it, Isis. there just ain't too many good ones out there. When you find one who isn't completely near sighted to themselves, best hold on tight...my best advice to you. I'm sure the right one's out there somewhere. Michael |
