Little one gone all day,
He's tentively stretching floundling wings,
I sit alone here all day long,
Trying to think of happy things.

Friends all too busy,
Others live far across the sea,
Sometimes it just feels like,
The whole world has forgotten me.

Mum and Dad are ageing,
The time left here all too short,
Can't stop these feelings of negativity,
And be happy as I ought.

Feeling alone and low,
Only depressing thoughts gather,
But I sometimes have these 'visions'
I see the truth in people, the truth they try to hide.

I cannot give, give, give
And never receive in return,
People just expect me to put everything on hold,
And listen while they cry and yearn.

I cry, I yearn, I fear,
I feel the same as they,
But no one is here to comfort me,
At the end of cold and lonely day.

I witness their pettiness,
Their silly little dramas,
Over advice, often unheeded,
Then sometimes I am perceived as a harmer.

It's not true, I do have my own pain,
How I long to love like that again,
How my empty arms just ache to hold someone I love,
Instead it seems to me I'm destined for lonliness - No more rainbows from up above........

Isis sweetie. Let me again offer my ear and heart. I too am watching those in my life slowly slip away. No arms hold me through the night. silent pleas for understanding of my hurt have gone unheard and ignored. So i think I can relate. So feel free to vent with me. Anytime. I'll bring the tissues!!!

Isis I have found your heart to be a place to reside my thoughts in, Your spirit has been a light house in the stormy sea, I know all to well the ?? responsibilities a position and loneliness that comes with giving, when you are looked upon to give endlessly, And you are a natural giver in that, it is hard to receive, so sit back and let all your friends send you light and love. soak it up and know that you are never alone, I know it sounds like the x-Files, but really as a friend we are connected, you can see this. I know you can, as all your friends are here, you are with us and in our thoughts throughout the day, and into the evenings. We do love your spirit. kid. so smile. I will send a howl across time and space to enter your heart.
Love you kid.
Joel.

I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.

Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders
And it makes me want to touch you there.
And the light in your eyes makes me feel
Like there's something much better out there
Something kind...
And I know someday I might be looking around
Trying to find some purpose
Well purpose it can't be that hard to find
As long as I've got the wind...
The wind and your love to carry me.

Isis all of the replies are true. We all love you. Never feel alone, a lesson I am just learning.  I know how it is to give, give and give just to be tossed to the curb.  My email is always open, you have it so use it also on icq. Let me be there for you as you unknowingly have been for me here in Passions.*passing a tissue and a Huge Hug from Tx*

Isis I believe all woman go thru these feelings when the child is off to school.  Too much time alone can lead to lots of reflection and perhaps the dreaded blues.
Now its time for you to be off...to the beach, the country, some dance lessons, a hiking club, community service, a few close girlfriends...getting together for tea and to chat..., scuba diving, a part time job.
You will work it all out.
I'm hoping for a fulfilling and rewarding life for you.
I know there are lots of people out there that would love to get to know you and be your friend.  You are a special lady.  James
