It's a haunting haze,
lingering through me
Taunting me with unanswered questions
How things change,
with only the sunset
Then I am a wandering soul,
within the walls of my room
Taught so many lessons
but I never learned to let go
Now I'm beyond the point of consolation
Now I'm beyond the point of return

The dust has settled,
without a happy thought in sight

Very well done, Dark Enchantress,
I relate to what you say about change well, That sense of being left behind, but wishing you could go back to that point in time.
Well done.

Michael
