What you don't know is that I am not who you think you know
I am not the person you see
Look beyond the girl you see everyday
Into the scared child inside
You may think...I want to be alone
You are all wrong...I need someone to talk to...to hold me...to be my true friend...to be strong
Once or twice to protect me from things I may do wrong...

I know my friends...though I might have few...

Well, you can start with the one in gray...that is always there and never looks away
She may not be always be noticed but she is here for me
Then look for two others in the sky... they always fly so high...
I can't see them at times...but they are always there...they just might show how much they care
Here beside me...one of my true best friends...a sister I shall call her...maybe not by blood...I would give my life for her...maybe she taught me how to learn...
Two others wonder if I am alive...when I talk to them I feel I could die...I am never sure if they would notice...
I know they love me...with all my heart I care...but I never know if they are there...
Look around my dear friends...you are my hopes and faith...the few I understand...
I will always be there...through day and night...storms or sun...I love you all
