alone in a cabin in the woods
softly at a window I stood
waiting
through the mist and whirling snow
I see them coming so I go
to the fire
and as I stare deep into the flames
I hear my name...

hello... remember me?
I remember you.
you and I share a fragile thread
spun gold
you are my life
you are my soul
you are... me
   let me in

I rise and go to the door
finding only wind and snow before
me
suddenly, images engulf me
a swarming tide, a rising sea
of memories
lives that were mine
somewhere in time

and they say...

hello... remember me?
I remember you.
you and I share a fragile thread
spun gold
you are my life
you are my soul
you are... me.
     let me in.

Beautiful Wendy I liked this a lot. Just watch you don't get a multiple posting thing happening.

 Let your heart guide you. It whispers, so listen closely.

I don't know what that means...  (Sorry, I'm pretty new at this.)

Past Lives!! What a weird thing to think about.  I do often and I hope it's true (reincarnation) that is.  I think she meant that a multiple posting from past lives!  I'm not sure though?
