a scribe sits beside a praying mantis
amongst tall grass breathing Savannah air
while frantic mosquitoes sink skinny fangs
into pale pink skin to feed on fresh red

deviant pink floyd words vaguely pass
tell me what you see, what is that you see
tell me what you feel, what is that you feel
all that you touch and all that you can see

all that you taste can …
                                        be such a huge waste
while you darken the right side of the moon
screaming when there is …
                                             none lending a ear
like loonies singing love songs out of tune

there is no light seen as bright is seated
in eclipsed shadows of hollow hallways
dimmed by synthetic flickers of high hopes
forming a haze around all that is real

.......

(breathe...
                 breathe in the air)

enjoyed your words...smiling at the ending...
