There's a lion in my playroom,
His roar can wake the dead,
He struts around, like a king,
In a cape of gold and red.

There are bats in my attic,
They sleep throughout the day,
At night they go out sucking blood,
From unsuspecting prey.

There's a mouse in the dining room,
It's teensy, weensy, tiny,
But his spooky eyes, freak me out,
Because they're black and shiny!

There are fairies in the garden,
They live among the flowers,
They sing and dance, on moonlit nights,
Then sleep in hidden bowers.

A ghost haunts my bedroom,
It slithers everywhere,
The room gets cold and icy,
So I snuggle up with Bear.

There's a monster in my basement,
It GROWLS for its food,
I toss it down, whatever it wants,
To lighten up its mood.

There's a piano in the parlor,
It plays all on its own,
The weirdest sounds, I've ever heard
~ Like eerie groans and moans.

Creatures scratch the rooftops,
Sending chills along my spine,
Howling rings throughout the woods,
From beasties as they dine.

Willows whip the shutters,
On windy, stormy nights,
Giving rise to goose bumps
And adding to my frights.

A gnome lives in my kitchen,
It bakes the strangest things,
From bugs and snails, to monkey tails,
While it cooks, it hums and sings.

My home is my castle,
With its strange menagerie,
And I wouldn't change anything,
Because it's home to me!

(giggles in delight) Ooohhhhhh...and don't forget the wocket in your pocket, and the woset in your closet, and the nink in the sink, and those adorable nupboards in the cupboards, and the tellar, and the nellar, and the gellar, and the dellar, and the bellar, and the wellar, and the zellar, in the cellar, awwwwww, and that cute little zillow on your pillow, hehehe! (giggles) I'd never change a thing about my house either, because I always love the company, yay, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Linda, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
