The Screen Porch

The thin, metallic screens let the air
inwardly
do things,
all but prohibiting
anyone
from noticing.
Night invites undressing
slowly.
Surprised
to find a man of my age
enjoying,
for the first time,
nakedness outside the bathroom,
the breeze feels
shyly.

Oh now what memories this brings back!
This is lovely, Robert...
now stay awhile, will you?

Oh geez...what memories...
I may even be inspired!

Passing Shadows .... Smiling. I understand what you mean about a privacy fence. However, it's taken me low these many years to work up to the relative darkness and seclusion of a screen porch. The OPEN yard, privacy fence notwithstanding, must await another life. Smiling and thank you.

Sunshine .... You are always so encouraging. It does the heart well. Thank you.

Martie .... Thank you for the kind words. Bless you.
