These words become catharsis;

within their pureness
i yearn to stay
without camoflague or cover
that wears my blank face

in here i am safe
freed within their shelter,

in here i meet the poet
the dreamer the mystic the whore
the whole of me;
the slivers and slices,
mirror particles dancing on skies and seas
that my mind, uncaged has swept over,

in here i live;

in here i see without walls;

these words come through for me;

they are flares of light
sent into dark corridors
where faith stalls for now,

in here i soothe myself,
free myself, become myself,
insulate myself
from the ensuing doom
that wraps the world
as each sunrise falls

... and you are very powerfully, beautifully wrapped!

Michele, the self behind my words
surprise me sometimes. Sometimes when I
read something that I've written, it amazes
me that I revealed certain things.

I really enjoyed reading this.

Ethel
