Such a beautiful sound

I have a feeder right outside the window where the computer is and caught this one (first one this year!)  They just sit there and serenade me and I could not be more grateful for their songs.  Thanks everyone!

The canary chirps
To greet the morning sunshine
And sleeps at midnight

I never mentioned to you before that I have a fear of birds, did I?

giggle--it's true though.

But this IS lovely.

Perfect....words and picture
I have watched the gold finches changing color, so drab and olive in early March, and now (just as your picture shows) bright golden yellow
