All I Have Ever Wished For

Reason there used to be
When we kept in touch
Words would flow easily
You had meant so much

All paths were once clear
So bright and cloud free
Your inspiration lifted me
My heart felt the harmony

My mind kept on tracking
Recollecting back then
Much was written for you
In the poems I would pen

I go over those memories
As I feel my heart yearn
All I have ever wished for
Is that one day you return
