Not so many weeks ago
I thought I was going to have a baby,
Now those of you who know me
know how difficult that would be..
but nonetheless....

I lay there in pain
shooting pain around the mid-section.
Almost the howling pain of childbirth.
I tried to pant
and tried not to push
and tried to remember
the childbirth lessons of so many years ago.
Why did I not pay attention?

Then the thought struck me
this is not such a bad thing,
although a little painful,
Think of all the money to be made
The book rights!
The movie!
The graphic photos in the Enquirer!
That's when the pain stopped.

There have been times when I actually thought I was going to have a cow when trying to be creative! But, when the creativity begins to flow effortlessly, I suddenly found a newborn babe in my arms and I never even had to go through the painful birthing process. Now those are my kind of deliveries! lol

Enjoyed your tongue in cheek humour!

It is a wonderful feeling when you're in the zone and all is well! Gifts from the Universe then flow effortlessly towards us. May this be so for you!
