In Your Poetic Mind

Where in  dark woods
can I find you?
beside the flowing river
with no end:
haunting shadow
holding   flowers

for a moment,  on my palms
the still - felt silence-- in
endless colors emerging

petals were falling

I came upon them at dawn
bent down to touch
silk meaning, while
trees were quiet&
blue veils went unrecognized in the sky

for hours I stood
listening to earth

Today, ask me to walk on the other
side of the bridge --
read a part of your sadness, your embrace
from forgotten novels
most stories are about time, and lovers
fade your words ever softly

Still the night held no stars
we danced in the wake of dust
gathering memories
to hold upon heart
your beauty stirred  wind
haunting my eyes

Your whisper, I bury in my soul
tucked against pressed lips
and gentle fingers
here I know the embrace of each branch

Leave the roses in their box
let  rain scatter their ashes in
rhythms of wind and water
they  will eventually make way to the
sea

--lonely and searching
for your hands

~~**~~
The sound of silence calls,
I hear your voice and suddenly
I'm falling, lost in a dream
The echo of our souls meet
~~**~~

L, you have written so much beauty but none more eloquent and beautiful before, and your soul never shared so much before...
Gosh gal, do you know how much you are loved aroud here and by me? You are a butterfly who's wings fly so very high.

It's better than I could have planned..
it's made me who I am...
