and other things
you can't show someone

you laughed after
and lost count
of the sheep
you said something vulgar
under your breath

and with your eyes
that didn't want to sleep
so you made them look away
before they got caught there
your hands were restless too

they danced with buttons
on your vest and my eyes
pretended not to notice
so I made them look away
before I said something too

just loud enough for you to hear
