Reaching Out

I sit in the warmth of the sun
Crossed legged and ponder on the one
Reaching out to phantom field
To reap the wealth of the yield

From silence to silence I go
The why of which I do not know
For entrance to the knowledge store
Is tied up in the evermore

The evermore does not exist
For time itself will not persist
And time along with us will die
And nothingness will be the lie

Now nothingness I comprehend
Of no beginning and no end
Without the elixir, mixer
There is no need for a fixer

But I must say I do enjoy
The use of words and their employ

Good morning Sy ... I enjoyed this so very much. I don't have the command of the language that you do, but always find your poems a delight to read over and over.

And you do it so well..... I like your wordplay in this one, like the "from silence to silence" -- perfect!

Sy, I like this one. Especially, "From silence to silence I go
The why of which I do not know"
That's neat.  I like to play with words myself, but I never seem to reach your heights.
