Whisper the winds through budding trees
calling the birds and buzzing bees.
Letting the world become abloom
as kites and kids soar lightly and zoom

Swaying the reeds at water's edge
beyond the rocks of craggy ledge.
Lost in the move of waters dance
wishing a lover, suitor perchance.

Lost to the moment of newborn spring
where eagles soar and angels sing.
Where imagined ships sail on the blue
in red and gold and greenish hue.

Listen children, to all you hear
upon this day of warm this year.
Dance the meadow of clover green
of green and yellow ... purple sheen.

For now a zephyr whispers so soft
and stirs the hay of brown barn’s loft.
As wheat in the fields grow lazily
and children roam young, wild and free.

Wow, once again, I meet beauty here in your verses.
Those whispers are beautifully shared.

Barry....There is something about the wind that brightens my mood...feeling it here as well as in your poem.  A wonderful read this morning, dear man...thank you.

Thanks for this one, Barry.  Although it is warm and sunny here, I am stuck inside my house with some virus or something.  Your beautiful verse brought a touch of spring indoors for me today.

Wonderful work!

This takes me back to childhood playing in the wheat fields under the endless summer sky and jumping from the hay loft.  Mmmmm, what a lovely, happy write.

soft breeze of spring blowing....lovley canvas in which you paint....good to see you here!

The sound of silence calls,
I hear your voice and suddenly
I'm falling, lost in a dream
The echo of our souls meet

I know it sounds cliche,
but this is truly a breath of fresh air!

Loved this picture you painted,
and the way you made your words dance and twirl~

*applause* Barry~

Beautiful, as always...hey Magnus, I have a girlfriend who lives in SC...actually Beauford..she works in Hilton Head.  She says its very lovely and I'm supposed to come down for a visit, she's really getting frustrated with me for not doing so.

Anyway, you have such mild weather there all year round. How lucky you are!

Hugs Lee J.
