Angry animal at only ten
with carrot mane
in string it hangs
beside
a deceptive smile.

Wild cat
distracted by any sound
Ready to strike, ready to pound
especially at the silence
of pendulums swing.

Angry One,
from where did you come?

I envision the wild hearted steed...skiddish and independent...
I would name him skyrocket
Enjoyed your journey here

"At only ten ..." ?

So it can't be a hissing puma!

You mysterious lady, you keep us thinking ...

A captivating read.

Okay, who is the angry one.  It sounds like a puma to me, too, but like above, "only 10" throws me.  .....jo

Deer eyes at eight
Can patiently wait
Watching the cat try to swing

Curly lock top
All motions stop
Listen to the bell now ring

Tom cat she doesn’t know
But play’s done and must go
Glancing over shoulder sees
Quickly the angry flees

Gloom

perhaps not the answer
but at least a response of sorts

I got the picture of when I used to tease my cat.  With the ball on a string.  Or anything...

Very descriptive though.

Sunshine, TD, and Margherita,
Thank you for responding.  It's funny how a poet can write something that he thinks is clear as clean water, and when he hears of other's interpretation, he has to go back and say, "Hm... I didn't think of it that way, but that's an interesting take on the theme!"  I find myself smiling at all the
ways this poem has been visualized.  Thank you for your feedback!

passing shadows,
Ohhhhh. That ouches. Be well, my friend.

iliana,
You'll kick yourself when you figure it out!  You're trying too hard.  Gotta get back to business
very soon.  Thanks,
            Sadie

Professor,
I think the Angry One has dwelled in the setting of many of your gloomier poems.  Thanks.
          Sadie

endlessecho,
You must have one playful and aggressive little kitty!  Enjoyed your response.
          Sadie

Thanks, Eric.  I appreciate your response.

Okay -- I give up?  Please email me to let me know?  The only other thing I could figure was a decorative grandfather clock or a kitty watching it!  lol

I've read my e-mail.

You are doing all you can, and that sort of
carrying DOES have weight and merit.  You
may not see it yourself, but it will continue
to be felt by those who receive your gifts.

I am very proud of you - and someday, you will
see just how much of a change you made.

Thank you for sharing the details.

LOL, I pictured a young two-legged even more than a four-legged creature. Having had three brothers and sisters with red hair, and having worked with children in a psychiatric setting...I guess understood this write differently than most the other readers.

Sunshine,
You are a real pal!  Thanks for the pat on the shoulder.  I needed that.  Your words are very much appreciated.
       Sadie

Midnitesun,
Although in different settings, there is unrest...  Thanks so much for responding.  I've missed your writing.
