In All its Capacity

awesome
the capacity of a seed
the breadth
of its influence
its permeation

given half a chance
given fertile soil
a soul in which to dance
no rocks nor stones
to foil

the generations
that follow
that bloom and survive
multitudinous gems that
fill a vast expanse
as time
explodes
its future

sparkling
as numerous as stars
too many to count

take the apple seed
the tree

and what about
you and me

oh, let us not
cast nor receive stones
that halt the groans
of future creations

for the seed to bloom
give it life
let it be
