Part of a challenge
/pip/Forum7/HTML/000614.html

“Beauty is truth, truth beauty,”-that is all
that this one man will let go, but onto him
a great burden will be placed upon that
small frame.  Reach, reach out into the great be-
yond and find your time young man, it’s out there!

The lamb’s skin of the drum beats rhythm out-
The river inside the stylus listens-
The tree’s skin takes each and every beat in-
Performing a symphony on a page.

And this blank place is where my fingers moved
to that symphony created by each
movement of the wrist, hand, fingers and eyes.
But the symphony can no longer be
heard by my ears, it has faded away.

"So what befalls the flawless?
Look what I've built, it shines so beautifully now watch as it destroys me."

I like this especially the part about the river in the stylus and the tree's skin - very creative
