What more could I ask
than the warmth
of a breathless sigh
to drive the chill
from a February morn
and tether this heart
neath folds of cotton
Today the cock crows
in vain...

some with a flattering word"

(big angel hugs) This is a deep and poignant expression of your heart, sweet friend, we can all get tangled but know that you will be gifted with this simple wish, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Edder, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Hey you...

this is as lovely excuse to stay under the covers as any I've ever read.

It's good to read you again, m'friend.

ed...your wife must LOVE living with such a sweet poem every day...helen

Morning

steaming night
brings calm
morning
I wake
to your
soft snore
calming me
to your presence
I watch you
as you dream
and wonder
where your
unrestricted thoughts
take you
see your chest
raise and lower
in your
fantasy world
your heart
beats so deep
it pulses
in your neck
and then
I notice
your lashes
are the perfect
butterfly kiss

Usually I have a very literal mind...this time I needed to...goodness...

Ed~ you write so beautifully, but I can honestly say I value your friendship so much more....the poems are just icing...
