If we never get
to touch again,
and i can only relive
you when the springtime
rain hangs the new branches
with beads of finest crystal,

i will cherish your
memory as the
firmament that blooms
within me,

where i digress
to tap the wandful
of stars that came
the day you first
arrived

and reaffirm that
dreams are spun
on strands of faith,
from hearts that once
connected, if only
thru an interlude of
april's rain,

and that true love
whispers tenderly
where the echos
of the afterglow
will long remain
