Silence of day bring ponder on silver wings,
wings that touch the heaven's winds as a
mind stirs relentlessly the broth of life.

A sip telling of what is needed,  for sugar brings
happiness and salt spreads bitterness...Such
bittersweet taste when the air simply breathes
without sound.

Each mile oft forgotten as casks filled with past
thought shake and slosh....spilling mere
droplets of what was upon the worn shoes of a
traveler.

Let the path wander briefly that one might learn,
let the shoes wear that one might humbly walk
on the tenderness of soles naked to truth,
thirsting of what lies spilled before him.

Give to me this wandering soul,  that I might smile
into the lifeless eyes of yesterday.  That I might
again rekindle the fire of dreams and smoulder into
the night skies....as tendrils of what might be
flow before me...

Let me taste the vintage of trangressions wine.
Let the swill of a droplet coat the silent tongue
and bring forth the spring of knowledge,  of hope
and future dreams...that I might live.

And yet.... salt brings out the flavor of what is there, unless there's an excess of it... and sugar may only cover the taste with its own.

A "thinker" you've written here... glad I stopped in!

(smiles) And there's the nectar, the sugarcane, the honeycomb, all where the natural selection of joy can be tasted! (big angel hugs) God Bless You, sweet friend, puree it all together and serve, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Magnus, this write just made me want to give you a great big hug and say, everythings going to be fine...

What a heartfelt lovely write....you are a very sensitive man....and I like that.  I wish more men saw and felt what you do, and perhaps they do, but are afraid to show it.  I think women are basically looking for their best friend and it would be nice to listen to a man who can express himself..share his goals, failures...successes, fears...

Awesome write Mr.!

And all shall be well my friend ...

A wonderful write. hugs, Marti

I take no credit for my poems. Although I write them, I feel
more like I transcribe them. It's just a matter of listening.

Your poem is stirring and beautifully put into words.

Nice work Barry~
