My dear, sweet friend, Noah, I called the number you gave, Just to see if Cupids were there, Waiting for hearts to save. I heard it ring two or three times, Then a cupid(?) answered the phone. "Listen, Mister, I ain't available, "Why don't you leave me alone?" I double-checked the number, Crosschecked with the numbers I had, Only to realize to my chagrin, 800-CUPID calls Toerag! Yanno, Noah - you can be a real devil when you try - lol. BTW - Your poem was great! |
