The wind's icy path
traced in white caps and foam;
rushing waters.

Way to cold to go to the beach here...but I love the poem. It is short, sweet, and to the point. Bravo!

My pleasure Dixie...well it warmed way up to the 20's Sunday and the beach was truly wondrous...[I'm not a polar bear, but visit an elderly uncle who lives by the beach]   ~P

The wind's icy path
traced in white caps and foam;
rushing waters.

yes it is traced
what an eye you
have,
stemming from the open or original mind, maybe u are familiar with the path yourself

Lighting my way
on this solitary path;
the waxing moon.

White caps and foam, eh?  Makes me cold to think of it, even without the icy wind...

Brrrrr!

choshi - I agree, too cold for the beach, but now in front of a warm fireplace reading this poem, just lovely...

(sigh) Oh Paul, this is wonderfully detailed, sweet friend, we certainly have gotten some of this finally here in Colorado, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Paul, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
