standing on a shadow's lace

One Day…..

one day
if you wake
and you find
that you are tired
tired of the wait
tired of the longing
and all of the
emptiness combined
and find you want
to be loved
really loved by
one that will last
by someone that is
strong enough
to overlook the flaws
and weak enough
to be afraid too
afraid of the risk
and the past
someone strong enough
who can stand alone
but who will
be there
right or wrong
there for you
to be your bond
your heart
in wake and sleep
the place
where only
you belong
to catch
your every sigh
taste each tear
that you cry
for I do not want
second best
I want the place
where my heart
can rest
and I am
composed of strength
and weakness each
and I am here
waiting for you
yours and all
you have to do
is reach

"...strong enough
to overlook the flaws
and weak enough
to be afraid too..."

Beautiful!

"...one that will last..."

12th line down, I think...'one' doesn't fit, could it be changed to 'a love that will last..."?

Altogether, touching.

Light keep you always,
Amara
