Of Wile and Bile

I often drill the dice of wile
To spill the contents of my bile
Hoping for a slight release
An esoteric taste of peace

Will-o-the wits that fly about
Beyond enigmas dark of doubt
Lighting candles in the mist
The fireflies of dreams exist

It is a game of evening’s voice
Beyond the vain within your choice
It is a link, substrates brink
That blinks at us a subtle wink

Why not the taste of lover’s lace
A shawl to warm the cold of space
Why not a touch of velvets glove
A nest to hold the ode of love

I toss the dice not once but twice
To play the game of men and mice

Wonderful Sy...
And methinks you are a prince among men!
Time for tea?  I'll pour.
~Morning hugs, Nancy~

Sy - When I first glanced at the title of your poem, I thought it was "Of Wife and Bile," and I thought to myself, "Hmmm, is Sy digging himself a hole in which he will be forever entrapped?"  lol  Nicely written poem.
