You've woken me,
Reminded me I'm alive.
Lifeless dreams of failed resolutions,
saddened humiliation forgotten.
You've filled this
void growing inside my soul.
You touch my hand,
and touch my heart
with your whisper.
The softness of your fingertips,
the touch of your lips,
just for a second makes me forget,
that I'm a nobody.
I close my eyes,
and die inside.
When I awake
you're still there.
You've woken me.
