Slow Down

Slow down,
e-a-s-e  your hand
along my arm,
linger awhile,
lips on lips -
say the words,
the words . . . whispered,
so I barely hear you breathe.
Feel the heat,
cheek to cheek,
the pounding of hearts
trying to sync . . .
e-a-s-y now,
we've the night,
all night long,
to slide our souls . . .
as one.
Slow down . . . slow . . .  down . . .
e-a-s-e your hand,
and linger . . .
yes, linger . . .
there.

Lovely.. smiling here

Maree.

Beauty of the world which is soon to perish has two edges, one of laughter and one of anguish, cutting the heart asunder.

JWesley~
So very lovely ... just reading the title had me singing 'Feeling Groovy'~
Now maybe just mentioning it will get it stuck in your head too~

Jimmy

The thought of slowing down because you have so much time...is lovely...like beginnings.  Enjoyed this romantic poem!

jwesley,
This is one of those reads that I'd enjoy hearing the poet recite.....perhaps with
a rose between his teeth~
