Somewhere... out there...

0 posted 2004-03-28 10:55 PM

breathing...

breathe...
in counted time
each second
closer
to the
last

exhale...
the pain of
loneliness in
cradled
memory
of the
past

inhaling...

breathe the innocence...

remember when it
didn't hurt
to
'be' -
to live the
emptiness of
just another
day...and
pray
forgiveness
for the selfishness...for
foolishness of
pity's weep

and then...

a final breath...

a prayer...

for granted
peaceful
sleep

There are a lot of us that have breathed in that very same air, and perhaps still do. Nicely done Vicky.

Today I'm only moving clouds, tomorrow I'll try mountains.

Very nicely written. I read this as being one's final breath but maybe that is just where my head is at.

when it didn't hurt to be?
wow, err not even sure I do, that was a long time ago...
This is so... real.
I love it.
