A single bottle standing alone in an emtpy room,
A room with bright colors and cheer.
A cork fills the mouth of the bottle
Holding everything inside'
Faces of anger and faces of pain
What Damage is could cause
If that cork were to be removed
The distored faces scattering around the room
Taking the color
Stripping the room of cheer
Capturing all the happiness
So joy and delight would fill the bottle instead
And be trapped inside
Faces controting and swirling
Around the once happy room
But the bottle just sits there,
Alone
With its cork
How much can it hold?

This is an incredible write.  I could visualize every bit of this, though there are no bottles here.  Thank you for sharing.
By the way, I like the picture of you and your dog.  It seems to be a happy fella/o.
I sure hope others stop by soon to read your work.  They wouldn't want to miss this.

I liked this rather strange write. Not sure if the bottle's a person or actual bottle, maybe even a drug or alcohol but anyway dosn't sound like popping the corks gonna lead to much good.Interesting poem with lots to think about and relate too.enjoyed

well done, be it metaphor or reality
the bottle reflects whether empty or filled

This is good.  You should probably throw the bottle out the window.  I don't see much good coming from it sitting there waiting to pop.  Well done.
