Listening to every heart

Where’s the Spring Tonic?

Moon, rotund bullion,
Not floating, but inching itself
Higher in last night’s shadows,
As if pulled by capricious stars and planets
To join them in their
Brilliantine escapades, as they decorated
Newly budding limbs

Of cottonwood, and hedge.

Night air forbore
Anticipation, as fingerlings of thought
Urgently whispered, sleep soon…

A little faster now, winter melts
Once again,

But spring is lazy this year,
Hibernation sloughs off slowly
As warm quilts still whisper

Let me hold your dreams.

Very beautiful imagery, dear Karilea.
The heart already anticipates what's to come ... and dreams wait to manifest.
Here too the grip of cold is still there  ... even though the spring flowers are out.
Love, Margherita

So very beautiful Karilea..
Spring is slow to take over this year..
it snowed again here last night..
Soon....soon.
Hugs~

So THAT explains why I woke up this morning to a fresh blanket of snow... with the sun shining...

Daffodils grin and bud become blossom
And I know, once again, that Spring is awesome!
Love your word choices.  Well done.  KJ

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light

Wow Karilea....this is a keeper, your words whispered off the page....

is but a mouth pressed lightly and

Perhaps thy dreams demand
a touch more time than ere usual plan
unfortunately presented too few classes
on the You that awakens to your slumber

Many spend more work time asleep than waking
while overhelming materialism falls away
nights near dark hides shiniest baubles
most carefully coordinated colors all
fade to black the proper moment
Perchance to be thy night duties have swollen
unfair so true when one awakes more exhausted
from dreams than physical labor still few
pages _The Book of Life_ mention fairness
            perhaps with inequality's theme
Seasons of the Sun
   Seasons of the Wind
Seasons of Dreams may have entered
        Announcing a very different Spring
To each year there is a vintage unique
Melding sun water in Mankind Light Dark
      Moisture or Desert emotions
And so wait to see what the harvest
Will bring the cup life yours
            What Newfound Vintage might this
              Bring to thy Vineyard

Which is itself inspiration for verse
Merci and may this Vintage be a very special one indeed

"High on the Mountain, where the Sun stil Shines, and the water runs a little lazy."
