Horrible thing, get out of my way
Is what this lion seems to say
I'm coming through and right behind
There's more of me, if you don't mind

I've never seen the likes of you
Don't tell me you're a figure head too?
Well...sort of, said the lamp real quiet
In order to prevent a riot

Right now I may seem not that bright
But in a few hours I'll spread my light
And in some way I'm leading too
Though I don't travell like you do

Well I'll be darned, the lion roared
Cut yourself loose and hop on board
I'm a replica, the old one got wrecked
A nasty story, with all due respect
