Maybe it’s the weather
The sun so penetrating
With it’s warmth
And promise

Maybe it’s the friends I have
That give so much of themselves
When I am in need

Maybe it’s the newfound comfort
Of my own skin
The acceptance of me

Whatever it is
It has given me the ability
To work through the ugly
And to receive gifts of heart

And I am glad
I am filled with honest
Happiness
That you seem to be the reward
Of my evolution

"sit on top of the world and tell me how you feel...'cause what you feel is what I feel for you.."

"The acceptance of me"

The epitome of mental well-being and the very kernel of happiness...a good state to be in...

I bet you were smiling as you wrote this poem! ~ I certainly was while I was reading it!

Enjoyed!
