Iridescent wings
Silken gossamer
Flittering flutter
Levitating her

Loftily sailing
Gentle spring breeze
Lively and fragrant
New budded leaves

Sweet scented meadow
Of riotous blue
Cornflowers swaying
Shedding cool dew

Feathery landing
Vibrant orange sheen
Butterfly monarch
Most beautiful queen

Reading your critique I can say in mho that this has no room for improvement. It's perfect the way it is.
The monarch is beautiful and your descriptive poem brings much to the minds eye view.  Thank you for sharing.
