Soundless Solitude Does a heart cry out when broken, does it scream in pain, a mortal sound that all can hear . . . if so, why hasn't someone taken mine in hand? Does a broken heart cry in silent agony, a torturous ache that bleeds no sound at all, an unheard wail, a dying call, as it cracks from one to two. Does a heart cry out, a sound that all can hear. . . or does it break, quietly, in soundless solitude. w.james beard, jr. (c)february 2004 |

I would have to side with the solitude, as futile as it may be! Sweet melancholy, James~ |

Right-on Nancy - now you know where it was a borning...hee, hee... Thanks for the read Blues...Have to agree with you ... don't think it's heard, or there's a lot of selective hearing out there... |

It can cry in solitude ... anyway most of the time, as much as it cries no one hears ... Sad, but beautiful. Love, Margherita |

How do you silence a screaming heart I wear a crimson scar embroidered every place you touched no place on me not bleeding covered now in lovers blood I run to hide in darkness mask myself from any light but it seems that I am frozen fettered in emotional cuts injuries yet fresh, some healed exposed alone I stand searching and left to wonder how do you silence a screaming heart hRs 1-12-01 Not Your Need you kept more of you from me and that I just don’t understand the art of love is in sharing that is who I am I held on through the darkness without a single ray of light you stood on the other side of the door never once did you open it to invite mistakes have been made on the way and I will take my share but under all this weight some are way too much to bear I loved you but couldn’t love you enough realizing it in my heart and head is now just a bit rough I gave you all I am I’m weary, broken, and I concede I see that I am not enough I am not who you need hRs 6-24-01 jim...smooch |

I agree with you. *S* Either the screams are audible only to the one breaking... or there's a lot of selective hearing. *S* Excellent write! *S* |
