IT COULD BE!!

We need a friend to talk to
We need a friend to touch
We need someone who knows
That "lonely" is too much.

Don't expect a lot of things
Just a look and hug and smile
And someone who understands
Why "we" need our "while".

Nobody needs a bunch
A little's all it takes
To find what's in our heart
And foresee our mistakes.

A life is just a life
The only one we live
And there's so much more
Than what we choose to give.

If we'd just take a hand
And feel the warmth inside
Instead of messing with
That selfish, foolish, pride.

Just take the good in life
And throw the rest away
Or maybe, save the best
For a cold and rainy day.

Don't sit and worry 'bout
Where it all, went wrong
Just reach and grab the good things
When, they come along.

Love the ones you love
And hate the ones you hate
But you'll find lovin' is better
'Cause you don't have to wait.

But waiting for the love
We have let pass by
Leaves us all alone
And by, the by and by.

I just hope someday
That we learn to see
What, it is, we have
And not, what could be.
