Come Quickly! Earth’s sweetest midwife, to budding new bloom Guardian of God’s pure and delicate womb Caretaker, nurturer, mother of life Uncover winter to autumn’s dear wife Spring, the protector of long harbored dreams Melodies float in your gurgling streams Soft is your cradle to nestling and bear Warm is your breath to the otter and hare Maestro to May’s sweetest avian hymns Creeping your leaves onto impatient limbs Sculptor of petals, embellish the hills! Splash palette yellow on daffodil frills! Youth’s master match maker, breaker of hearts Source of the cravings from which life departs Giver of love and of light headed bliss Spring, please come quickly and do all of this Elizabeth Santos February 20, 2004 |

I came as quickly as I could come, I saw 'Liz Santos', got to get me some! She rhyming about those buds of spring, Isn't she just the sweetest thing? Bulbs, buds, those birds and bees, Her food for thought ~ blossoming trees. She can write standing up, or sitting down, Now I hear she's got new CD's in town! psst ~ Need an agent?  |
