Less

sixty two degrees
when I looked
and I felt the chill
it was much colder
than I had become
safely accustomed to
the earth again had
moved away from
the sun and just when
I needed more
I found less

62 sounds warm... but one does not always measure chill in degrees..or cold only in winter...

nicely done Helen..

I know too much this feeling of less. I hope it is always less of temperature for you, not less of love.

Now, now . . . you just didn't look in the right direction.  I was right over ... there!

That's the unfortunate thing about
the gravitational force of bodies...

Be them, heavenly
Or human...

They come, and they go
It’s light, and then dark
It’s warm, and then cold

Thanks Helen

I always love reading your work

Needing more and finding less is all too often the case. Nice poem!

Huh?
Sixty two degrees is near perfect, isn't it?
Well, ok, I'm a little cold blooded.

(big angel hugs) Oh Helen, I hope all is alright, sweet friend, it may be warmer than you think if you measure the thermostat by a different system, od Bless You, keep the faith, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Helen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
