~*~

Fragile
the cross-stitch
entwines
weaving fine lines
on white linen
hemmed in
around the edges
boarders
on the simple beauty
tracing patterns in silken sway
set aside
in gentle folds
only to unravel and let go.

~*~

Kool write Blues...never been into "sewing" of any kind, though sometimes I wish I had gotten into quilt making... lots of designs I'd like to "quilt".

This seems a poem about the fabric of life, once a thread is pulled, the whole thing might unravel...but life has the power to rethread the needle, making mends to the tapestry possible.
enjoyed reading it, Bluesy....

Lori, I love to "cross-stitch" for real.
I love the way you related it to life. Just
beautiful writing, lady.

I'm still here reading, Bluesy, and not disappointed.  And life is like a thread - so very delicate.
