To Balladeer It’s true Larry C and me Did spend a day upon the sea And there while drinking beer Came up the name of Balladeer And it did appear to Larry c And it did appear to me That Dear was quite myopic When he is philosophic For Dear was not to far from us Writing up this bit of fuss And a sea gull did dive a stream Of yellow brine across his beam That struck the poem a mess of dots And added odor to the rot What made us smile from ear to ear? Was the piddle landed in dears bear? And when he smiled a toast to we We grabbed our sides and fell into the sea. |
