In Candlelights Glow

Through the solitude and stillness of night
she silently writes by soft glow of candle light,
cherished thoughts into words she does turn
again seeking love her heart does yearn.

Lightly dipping into ink the tip of quill
penning her thoughts and feelings of real,
it is here she is held in this quiet of eve
that she feels once again her heart can believe...

in love.

{with thanks to Karilea for the beautiful graphic,
your the best lady!}

If the sun never rises
I want to go down in flames
I want the last thing I hear to be
you whispering my name.
Every moment together is time
that we borrow,
so hold me tight and love me like
there is no tomorrow.

Hi Donna ... never give up waiting for love!
A beautifully penned poem and Karilea, the graphic is outstanding.

Huggles, Marti

I take no credit for my poems. Although I write them, I feel
more like I transcribe them. It's just a matter of listening.

One tallow alight
dipping thy quill
performing the rite
that brings you home
to the mirror's truth
a forever light pure self-knowing
equals direction never to abandon nor lose
thy singular sight

my compliments

Donna...It's amazing how much the heart and  hand have in common. The heart feels love and hurt and the hand puts our feelings down it beautiful but sometime sad poems. This dear lady is one of those beautiful poems. Thanks for sharing...Paul
