Wings of Words

When you ride the wings of words
You glide the sky like swings of birds.
And they’re below the fields of green
And all the other in-between

You light the candles of your perch
At times a feeling that of church
Take a voyage of declare
On the waters that you share

You ride the mist of emerald Isles
Raining tears or those of smiles
You cross the mot of Builders Bridge
Upon an act of privilege

Whatever message of intend
You take the passage to its end
And add it to your daily fair
A marker and a place to share

It is the ghost of magic’s host
It is a drink, a wine of toast.

Fabulous Sy ....

Hugs and Smiles, Marti

I take no credit for my poems. Although I write them, I feel
more like I transcribe them. It's just a matter of listening.
