Rain Dance you were wrong about me you thought I would fall apart breaking to tiny liquid pieces scattering when slammed into a surface much harder than me a rain dance of such force staccato steps on hot concrete to bounce away upon the pain until I found a place that was cool and dark enough to hide in the cracks and disappear never again to be seen or heard well, I have to admit some of your predictions of me came true I did fall in rushing liquid streams uncontrollable actions of my emotions hitting hard enough to lose my way where only the cracks of darkness hid me till deep wounds healed then something amazing happened I changed, taking on a new form and rose above the knocking ground that held me in tightest grasp now, if you ever wonder about me and where I am, I am here, look up I am the clouds above you |
