Listening to every heart

Konrad – Shifting in Search

I feel her now,
looking back, reminiscing,
exploring sensations that were
left hanging in warm, moist air,
almost
tangible to her touch,

and I sense her reaching,
delving into what was left behind,
there, in the blues and greens, and mist,

as if by eyes blinded,
she wants to believe
she will see into a past,
to be wary
of future steps into sand,
where prints are enfolded
into moments past time.

She looks beyond the waters,
past the verdant lush
of all that would overgrow
misfortunate, pain, and weariness,
she peers into the mists…

seeking,

knowing I am but a thought
away.

~*~

In climbing the tower
as if hoping to find a new perspective
in looking outward, now,
as well as inward,
questioning
where my own ponderings
will lead me,

as the awful losses lay heavy…
death taking more than its toll…
while inner needs outweigh love,

and resolutions still beg this quest.

~*~

I think I hear her,
now, whispering to my soul…

Follow your intuition,
step ever forward…

I shall always be here,
listening for you.

Love this Karilea..I was wondering when you would continue this story.
Very much enjoyed.

Even though I may have missed some of your series, I think this is a fascinating write even on its own.
Brilliant Karilea!

This takes me back to a time I once knew.

Love it Karilea and the image too.

love the chemistry and connection you are conjuring up here with this.
A mix of anticipation and haunting allure.
the moth wants more.

Well I cant say what I might believe ...
but if God made you ... he's in love with me.
