Be-a, Be-a,
Be-a blare
discordant F I hear

awakening from long awaited dreams;
I'd rather be defined in sleep to share
those gentle smiles of rewinding days,
those hide-and-seeking brown-eyed plays.

Be-a, be-a, be-awake it calls
to lift head in morning haze
to put dreams behind in memory lulls.

Be-a, be-a, be-ablazed
be-a, be-a, I am crazed
to drown you in the tub;

Be-a, be-a, be-amazed
if I don't pull your dangling plug!
Be-a, be-a, hush I plea,
But it's not use!

You've mistakenly
awakened me,
removed my pretty dream.

Sadelite, this is so true, happens often! You said it very efficiently! If only we could linger a little longer to explore the dreams which flee so suddenly when the alarm clock goes off.
Love it.
Love, Margherita

as you probably know, the funny thing is, even on days you dont need your alarm clock, your body clock wakes you up on time!!

And the cat takes over wake-up duties if the alarm fails... no hope for sleepyheads. *G*

I enjoyed this! *S*

Thank you everyone for your shared interest in alarm clocks!   Have sweet dreams-just be sure to finish before that bleeping clock goes off!             Sadie
