Drip drop of thinking puddles in the hallowed places
Tiny secret presents charm the etchings in its graces
Charms, the twinkling lights that dangle distant to be seen
Winking in the dusk of day and in tonight my heart to lean

On warm wet thoughts of shimmering gloved oils
Steeping as a bobble in a bath of frantic foils
That light my eyes in sketching made of outlined smile
As pen to paper trills the voice of certain sweet beguile

Perks and paper chains, the tributary streams where linger wanes
And finds my soul at rest against the rock of tender planes
Tagged indelible the catch of golden locket latch
Drip drop of sentimental sweep on sift of warmer seasons thatch

Unfurling into lost of winter arms on melted moment’s hush
To seek the valley of the rising suns mosaic fleeting brush
And dream again the day when what was lost is found
Drip drop the yearning into place that calls love to come ‘round
