From a cradle to a casket

Autumn stands alone
deep warmth is covered by an icy breeze
once radiant summer is decaying
the bright beauty has simmered down
sunrise is amber
but the sky is gray and bleak
time continues and compells
winter has taken control
sheer white snow and a blue hue
everything alive within has withered
crumpled away, burried and forgotten
nothing left
this place is empty and bare
a void of color and emotion
one day in a dark sky
a warm sun rises
stoping an age of darkness and no hope
slowly earth regains felling
the world has broke free of numbness
ice melts away
replaced by the sweetest blossoms
harsh air is lighter, more tender
spring has dawned
days and weeks go by and at their every passing
the sun rises higher
the air grows warmer
and the land bursts with life
winds carry a sense of freedom
and the trees stretch their great arms
across the vast star- ridden sky
this is prime sensation
summer has arrived
everything is at peace
this era of satisfaction
most unfortunatly finds faults
and the air chills once more
in disappointment
colors so bold and brilliant dim
and again the suns fades and cowars
Autumn has returned
yet again alone and not for the last time
