I wish the sun would rise from the west today,
Riding so high on tomorrow's high horse.
i wish that the sun would stay risen again
never to fall back on the earth to be quenched.
i've seen the sky cry enough to sympathize,
feel the tears quench my own thirst.
So i'll put on a smile from my closet of falsehood
and go play in the rain faking this joy again.
the night sky seems to be my tired lover now
for the sun has gone down for one more rest.
sleep well my sun, dream of me in silence,
sleep well my son, dream of the things i taught you.
maybe when you return, i'll show you how to force smiles
and how to fool all of those loved ones around you.
smile sweet sunshine and feel empty all the while,
this is the way us children of the liars live.

now im alone, but not lonely like before

Ah, yes. The manipulators of the world... grown up with the perfect role models of our parents. I wonder if it was their parents who taught them... I wonder where the chain started. And I wonder if we have the courage to end it.

I rather like this...
